The regional SacSewer treatment charge appears on the same bill but is set by SacSewer — a separate regional agency — and is excluded from this calculator. New SacSewer treatment rates take effect July 1, 2026: $47.00 per month for a single-family house and $35.25 per month for each multi-family unit. Commercial wastewater (current): a readiness-to-serve charge by meter size that covers usage up to the meter-size threshold, plus $1.2953/CCF on usage above that threshold. Proposed: a fixed meter charge plus the proposed per-CCF rate for that year on usage above the meter-size threshold. SacSewer treatment is excluded.
Storm drainage: both the 1996 room-based fee and the 2022 parcel fee are shown. Commercial storm fees use gross parcel sq ft and property type. Neither fee is proposed to change in this rate study.
Solid waste & street sweeping are flat (effective Jan 1, 2024) and held constant across all years, as there are no current plans for adjustments.
